I suppose I have the best chance at the Samantha Brown gig, only requirement is that I win the lotto so I can hire a full time nanny (job requires lots of travel), that I drop about 20 pounds, and that I learn to not speak like a total bumpkin idiot.
Ok, that said, maybe Bourdain? Nope, too well read. Love the sarcasm though. And he walks with my late Dad's swagger. Well, actually that may be a plus, I can do that. And lose my keys, phone, glasses, etc.
Anyway, the point of this is that West Virginia sucks.

The new blog
Sorry Lewis Grizzard....I'm not feeling so good right now either. We have our own bit to deal with right now.
Hello generation....did we lose an icon? A hero...or a demon. Hell, I dunno. It was good for a ton of jokes at the bar tonight (where I work for a few kicks sometimes). We laugh, sometimes, and sometimes quietly. Is outloud innappropriate?
Side note, yes.....this is a new blog. My name is Elizabeth, I respond to Liz. My sister Kelly says I should start writing, and rather than piss her off I decided to write. I have to tell you right away that only part of what I write is life, the rest is my fantastical recreation of life. Nuff said.
I have enough to write a book right now, but instead of doing that, since I would be up for the next 473 days, I will wrap up the background now. If you want to know more you will have to keep watching the blog, because you might learn more each day.

I was born in 1974...a wonderful (haha) gift to my wonderful mother and the most brilliant journalist most politicians have ever met. I was raised by my mother and her second husband (wheew...I know you are relieved, me too.) My journalist father passed away in 2007....bout the time that I feel like I found my way out of the dark.
So....here we are now...me, you, a new blog. Stuff to say.
Brings me to today. I am married to Richard...we married in 1997. I have three beautiful maddinging children. Torey, 7....Trent...5....William 5. I left my career to follow my husband's dream job 6 years ago, and hell yeah, this blog is definately going to be more interesting because of it!!!!! Wooohoo!
I bartend (mostly for fun). OMG (couldn't wait to say that)....bartending is fun but the people are overwhelming! I don't mean the patrons, I mean the staff. All I can say for tonight is that there is a ton going on there at the bar. I cant wait to tell you about that in a future blog. But for today all I can say is.........................
